ABOUT

INQUIRE

Abbey Drucker is a New York-based, internationally acclaimed lens-based artist whose career began at the age of sixteen, earning recognition for her photography. After studying at the School of Visual Arts and working in Ellen von Unwerth’s studio, Abbey received a contract at Condé Nast, where she spent  over a decade capturing intimate portraiture of renowned actors, musicians, athletes, and activists.

Through her empathetic and collaborative approach to art and portraiture, Abbey empowers her subjects to embrace their authentic selves, capturing both their beauty and their strength. Her practice is deeply rooted in mindfulness and consent, reflecting her commitment to women’s health, sex education, disability inclusion, and the LGBTQ+ community. Abbey is also dedicated to preserving family heritage and honoring motherhood, including the journey from maternity through to future generations. By launching MOTHER, a fine art portrait studio for mamas and families, she continues to create spaces of community and connection for women.

Abbey’s latest body of work focuses on fine art photography, where she explores themes of womanhood, human connection, and sexual liberation within the natural world. Drawing from her passion for psychology and mental health, her work delves into empowerment, emotional vulnerability, and body positivity. Through her techniques in light sculpting, the physicality of nature and figure studies, she renders the complexities of the human experience, evoking emotions of romance, heartbreak, resilience, grief, and transformation. Her practice explores female identity and the journey of self-discovery.

Abbey spends her time between New York, Los Angeles, and Miami, working in fine art and advertising.
